1. Pokemon Anime:
Character: Ash Ketchum
Notes: I LOVE this kid! I love his cuteness and determination and his bonds with pokemon and people and his cluelessness and his intuitiveness and his heroism and how he doesn't age and how he is the MOST protagonist ever. His bonds with other people being especially important here, of course, because I ship him with pretty much everyone. Of course, I love the main ships like Misty, Gary, Serena, Goh, Dawn, etc, but there's a lot of rarer choices, too, not to mention other parts of pokemon like the games, the manga, etc. Also, there's crossovers if you feel that way inclined.
Ideas/prompts:
1. It's so cute when Ash is totally oblivious to somebody else's feelings for him, so I'd love to have someone pining for him and doing their best to subtly let him know that they like him before just going 'fuck it' and making a move.
2. Ash meeting someone on an adventure and teaming up with them and then feelings bloom.
3. Shipping Ash with his rivals!
4. Ash and somebody else get caught in the rain or snow and have to find shelter. Could be a cozy little cabin, a pokemon centre, a hotel, or even like one of those haunted house eps but with more romance.
5. Hurt/comfort where Ash gets sick or hurt and the other person has to take care of him. Or the other person gets sick or hurt and Ash has to take care of them!
6. If it's a crossover, then perhaps Ash introducing somebody else to the amazing world of pokemon (hey! dimension crossing is a thing in pokemon).
7. Ash saving someone/helping them get over something/helping them reform from villainy and them falling for him as a result.
Fandom-specific DNWs: Aging up more than a couple of years past canon-age (e.g aging up Ash to his early teens is fine, but I'd rather no more than that), Romantically/sexually dominant Ash, romantic/sexual Ash/pokemon.
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Character: Drusilla
Notes: Probably one of my favourite vampires ever! I love her weirdness and her aesthetic and the way she kind of...escaped being killed off lol. My fave ships for her are with Spike and Darla but I'd love to see her shipped with anyone, both in and out of canon. It's up to you whether she wants to kill and eat the object of her affection or not (and whether she does).
Ideas/Prompts:
1. Drusilla having the kind of plotline that Spike got, wherein she kind of gets redeemed and maybe even resouled. But you don't have to ship her with Buffy (though, of course, you absolutely can!).
2. Drusilla being somebody's precious attack vampire with lots of mutual loyalty and the like.
3. Drusilla having somebody else as an attack-whatever. Or just somebody else she wants to keep as a kind of pet.
4. Drusilla with vampires or other monsters from different canons. The merging of lore would also be extremely cool. Vampire the Masquerade comes to mind but there are so many vampires out there.
5. Hurt/comfort where Drusilla looks after someone who has been hurt or is sick. Could be some twisted mommy kink here, if you like.
6. Drusilla and one of the older characters (i.e not the characters in their teens and twenties) when that character was younger. Giles in his Ripper days, or Anya as an active vengeance demon, or even Buffy's mum for example.
3. Sonic the Hedgehog
Character: Shadow the Hedgehog
Notes: The Sonic Adventure games are some of my favourites. I love the different gameplay modes and the villain route in Adventure 2 was really cool to play as a first for the series. I love how Shadow is a dark version of Sonic and his backstory is fun and his relative 'edginess' is kind of charming. Fave ships are Rouge, Sonic and Amy but, obvi, it's up to you.
Ideas/Prompts:
1. I always love hero/villain team-ups for the greater good, so I'd love to see Shadow team up with one of the good guys and then feelings developing.
2. Somebody else trying to bring Shadow out of his angsty shell. How that goes, it's up to you.
3. Shadow gets sick. Just like regularly sick and he's sure that that's not something that can happen since he's the ultimate lifeform and everything, but the other character/s have to try and nurse him back to health, anyway.
4. I'd love to see Shadow back in the Mega Drive zones (time travel? dimension hopping?) and a bond being dredged up between him and some earlier version of one of the characters he knows.
5. One thing I really enjoy is worldbuilding around the levels in Sonic, like as if they were actual places that the characters exist in and the game-play representation is basically a mechanically streamlined version of what's happening narratively speaking.
6. If you're an artist, feel free to deviate from the canon style, I'd love to see what you can do with Shadow and the character/s of your choice!
