1. Pokemon Anime

Characters/Ships: Pregnant Delia Ketchum, Delia Ketchum & Baby Ash Ketchum

Tags: Adjusting to new life with a baby, Character is pregnant with a deity, Complicated emotions over unplanned pregnancy, Deity-assisted conception, Happy family, Lifestyle that really doesn't suit raising a child must now be altered when character gets pregnant, Nursery Planning/Building, Forest animals drawn to protect baby/kid.

Prompts:

• Delia was nineteen when she got pregnant with Ash, and maybe she was really into her Pokemon training when it happened. Perhaps the pregnancy is a shock for her and she isn't sure whether she wants to keep it (but obviously she does) and she has trouble training while she's pregnant and eventually gives it up while she raises Ash.

• The identity of Ash's dad is a big question in the fandom, but I don't really have any preferences. You can ignore him completely if you want.

• I like stuff that focuses on things being built or renovated, so something about her putting together Ash's nursery would be fun. That or her watching how his room changes as he grows more and more passionate about Pokemon.

• I like the idea that there's something special about Ash, that maybe he's not even completely human. And I also like the idea that this is completely unknown to him and that he appears as a regular baby/kid and that he appears that way until you notice something strange. I especially like the idea of him being a reincarnation of a minor deity and that Delia knows, at least on some level, that her baby is something different. Maybe Pokemon also notice this and even wild Pokemon are drawn to him/protect him. Perhaps there's not even a human father at all (and the guy Ash calls Dad is someone she starts dating after he's born).

• Cute stuff with Delia and baby Ash is also very much welcomed. Perhaps a collection of different scenes of pivotal moments between them if you're writing fic. Or a sweet picture of the both of them if you're creating art.

• One thing I love about Pokemon is, of course, the Pokemon, so it'd be cool to see them integrated into daily life. Delia hasn't met Mr Mime, yet, but maybe she has a team of them if she's a trainer, or her parents have them.

• Hanamusa! I'd love to see anything from their day to day lives, little snapshots or scenes.

• Things must have been tense between Ash and Jessie at first, and I'd love to see them trying/struggling to bond for Delia's sake and eventually growing closer for it!

• Ash especially, must feel conflicted since he's the one who has been hounded by Team Rocket for his entire Pokemon journey and Jessie has to work to convince him that she's turned over a new leaf.

• Anything with Jessie considering her own troubled childhood and missing mother and how she's determined to make up for the trouble she's caused Ash in the past and help give him the best future.

• Maybe they all go on holiday together! It could be somewhere we know Ash and Jessie have been but Delia hasn't, so perhaps they show her the sights and reminisce. Or maybe it's Paldea or one of the new DLC locations so none of them have been. Or perhaps a region of your own making.

• Maybe Jessie and Ash take Delia on her own Pokemon journey. Perhaps they help her catch a team of Pokemon and make her way through the league. I'd love to see what Pokemon you'd pick for her.

• If you're making art, a portrait of the family would be lovely to see. Perhaps it could be the three of them and their pokemon.

• Feel free to bring in James and Meowth, or any of Ash's friends. And everyone's pokemon, too, though I'm already assuming that Pikachu is wherever Ash is, anyway.

Characters/Pairings: Ash Ketchum & Baby

Tags: Character finds an egg that turns out to be carrying a reborn deity, Character finds an egg and it starts to affect their physical and mental wellbeing.

Prompts:

• Ash and his friends have found a good number of eggs through his journey but what if he found one that was carrying a foetal form of one of the more divine legendaries/mythicals. It could be Arceus, but it could also be Dialga, Palkia or Girantina, or one of the Alolan deitties or Xerneas or one of the Legendary birds or beasts even. It's really up to you which legendaries you think of as gods, though!

• How does the legendary look when it's hatched? Do they have a baby/prevolution form or do they just materialise as their current appearance. I figure that the creation trio would appear as their origin form (unpop opinion - I LOVE all of the origin forms). As for Arceus, PLA revealed to us that the arceus we see is only one part of the larger deity, so maybe a newborn form of it would look...different. Perhaps it resembles the beta Arceus we got to see a few years ago.

• I like the idea of the egg being a draining force on Ash. He's a strong, energetic boy but maybe it makes him feel weaker or more tired just due to the power it's radiating. Maybe it pulls on his energy because he has so much of it. Maybe this is due to his having aura abilities. Perhaps it gives him strange dreams. Perhaps it tries to commune with him.

• Maybe the deity has chosen him, because he's special, because they've met him before, because he's incorruptibly pure and/or because of those aura powers. Maybe it reacts badly if somebody who isn't him tries to steal it.

• If you go for Arceus, I'd love for the Unown to be involved, somehow - I think they're pretty neat.

2. Baldur's Gate 3

Characters/Pairings: Astarion/Pregnant Female Tav, Astarion and Baby, Astarion/Tav & Baby

Prompts:

• I see Astarion as not being fond of kids, in that he doesn't want to be around them and doesn't know what to do with them if they are. Like, what are they for? So I would like to see him have to reckon with his feelings there when fatherhood is thrust upon him, suddenly. Perhaps he realises pretty quickly that he loves his own kid even if he doesn't like anybody else's. Perhaps he ALSO brings up the astounding beauty the child is likely to grow up to have.

• He's a vampire and, for the most part, vampires are infertile, except when they're not! In DnD lore, a well-fed male vampire can impregnate a mortal, and Astarion probably doesn't know about this and, if he does, assumes it's so rare that it'd never happen to him and Tav. Then it does. Boom. How does he feel?

• Since Astarion probably didn't think he'd ever have kids, this comes as a shock, obviously. But his recent life has been surprise after surprise so what's this on top of everything else?

• The children created this way are dhampirs, and they have some of the weaknesses and capabilities of vampires but not others. For instance, they can walk in the sun, but they need to drink blood. So a blood-drinking baby would be cool to see. And maybe Not-A-Vampire Tav herself craves blood while she's pregnant and Astarion helps her out with that. Or perhaps she sources her own.

• I really like the idea of Astarion and Tav adventuring, post game, so maybe they continue to do this while she's pregnant and pick it up not long after she gives birth. Maybe they get into some unwise scrapes during this time but she is adamant that she doesn't want to rest for two long.

• Seeing them on a quest would be cool; maybe Tav and Astarion are taking on, say, a beholder while she's heavily preg.

• Maybe, though, she's advised to rest and does so begrudgingly. Astarion, who enjoys his creature comforts as much as he enjoys violence and blood, is quite happy to nest with her for a while. Maybe he dotes on her to the point of annoyance, heh.

• Feel free to bring in any of the other companions if you like! I love them all and would love to see how they all react to the news.

Tav:

• I don't mind what you do with Tav, but I would prefer it if she wasn't super young and virginal before she met Astarion. I'd like her to have had experiences of her own and, ideally, she's at least thirty (or her species' equivalent. And if she's an elf, maybe she has some centuries behind her).

• I also prefer the strong female build for the taller races, though the short races or a half-orc would be great, too.

• For class, I don't mind at all. My own Astarion LI is a spores druid but any class would be cool. Especially if it ties into her being pregnant. Like a barbarian sourcing her own blood for her cravings and then her baby - perhaps she wrestles a bear of her own. Or a cleric who calls on her god to help her through it. Or a warlock who has to contend with her patron who really was not expecting a pregnancy to come up. Or something else!

• I picture her as being adventurous and stubborn, of course, but how does she feel about having vampire offspring? Obviously, she and Astarion decide to keep it, but how does carrying a vampire baby all of a sudden feel for her?

• If you don't want to create a whole Tav, perhaps it could just be something with Astarion and the baby with her offscreen? That would be very sweet, too. Maybe it's a domestic scene, or maybe he's trying to keep it safe somewhere dangerous. It's all good!

Prompts:

• I think this pairing lends itself well to some spookier stuff! So don't be afraid to get a little dark and weird.

• I was thinking that the woman sought out the witch for her help and is fully prepared for what that means. At least, she thinks she is.

• Maybe the relationship grows because the woman has to stay with the witch for the duration of the pregnancy, so that the witch can ensure that it all goes to plan. I'd like it if the witch actually takes good care of her and dotes on her, even.

• I'm imagining a little witch's cottage in the middle of a dark forest swarming with monsters, and maybe the woman is obliged to stay there for nine months. Or maybe the witch moves in with the woman.

• It would be cool if the magical ritual results in a baby that isn't quite human. And perhaps this results in strange cravings for the mother to be. Maybe it's something like blood, or maybe it's something stranger like parts of the strange monsters of the forest or food infused with cursed energy or something. Maybe the baby needs that and, of course, her regular human body can't provide it on its own.

• Maybe the mother also sprouts some less human traits for the duration of her pregnancy like horns or fangs or a tail or something else!

• Perhaps the woman is of some standing: a noble or maybe even a princess or a queen, and this is her last resort for producing an heir to the throne/her family's fortune.
